The school stood tall, modern, and intimidating.

“Walk,” Mrs. Clara said softly.
“Confidence is not given here. It is taken.”
That sentence stayed with Uli as she stepped forward.

“You speak carefully,” the girl said.

“My name is Liana,” the girl said, sitting down without asking.
“Uli.”
Liana nodded slightly.
“You will either grow fast here… or disappear quietly.”
That sentence sounded simple.
But it carried weight.
Uli looked at her directly for the first time.
“I did not come here to disappear.”
Liana smiled faintly.
“Good answer.”
Back in the palace…
The tension from dinner did not end at the table.

Queen Mirabel sat alone in her chamber, her expression calm, but her thoughts moving faster than before.
The king’s interruption had changed something.

She picked up her phone slowly.

“Find out where she is.”
The voice on the other end hesitated.
“My queen… we were told—”
“I did not ask what you were told,” she interrupted.
“I asked what is true.”
The call ended.
Because Queen Mirabel understood one dangerous thing.

“When she returns… she must not return as someone asking to be accepted.”
Prince Promise understood.
“She must return as someone who cannot be ignored.”

That night, Uli returned to her room exhausted.
