Poor Orphan Got Pregnant With Twins & Was Kicked Out By Her Stepmom -Unexpectedly Baby’s Dad Was CEO
EPISODE 4
Vanessa sat in her car, her long nails tapping angrily against her phone.
“Find everything about her,” she said coldly. “I want her past, her family, her secrets… everything.”
The man on the other end replied, “Give me 24 hours.”
Vanessa smirked. “Good. Because that girl is not staying in Daniel’s life.”
—
Back at the mansion, the atmosphere was heavy.
Grace sat quietly in her room, staring at her reflection. Her eyes were swollen from crying.
“Do I really belong here?” she whispered.
For the first time, she felt afraid—not of poverty, but of losing the only peace she had found.
A soft knock came on the door.
“Come in,” she said weakly.
Daniel walked in, holding a tray of food.
“You haven’t eaten,” he said gently.
Grace forced a small smile. “I’m not hungry.”
Daniel placed the tray down and sat beside her.
“You need to eat—for the babies.”
Grace placed her hand on her stomach, her eyes softening.
“Daniel… your mother hates me.”
He sighed. “She doesn’t know you.”

“And Vanessa?” Grace asked quietly.
Daniel paused.
“That’s complicated.”
Grace looked down. “Were you going to marry her?”
Silence.
That was enough answer.
Tears slipped down her cheeks.
“I didn’t know… I swear I didn’t plan this…”
Daniel quickly held her hands.
“I know. Grace, look at me.”
She slowly raised her eyes.
“I don’t care about any of that anymore. What matters is you… and our children.”
Grace wanted to believe him.
But something inside her felt uneasy.
—
The next day…
Vanessa received a call.
“Ma, we found something.”
She sat up immediately. “Talk.”
“There’s no official record of Grace’s mother. But her father… his name was Mr. Adewale.”
Vanessa frowned. “So?”
The man continued, “Before he died, he worked for a company… a very big company.”
Vanessa’s eyes narrowed. “Which company?”
There was a pause.
Then—
“The same company owned by Daniel’s family.”
Vanessa froze.
“What?!”
“Yes, ma. And it gets more interesting…”
Vanessa leaned forward, her heart racing.
“There was a rumor back then… that Mr. Adewale was involved in a secret scandal with the company.”
“What kind of scandal?”
“We’re still digging. But one thing is clear…”
The man’s voice dropped.
“Grace’s past is connected to Daniel’s family.”
Vanessa’s lips slowly curved into a wicked smile.
“Oh… this is perfect.”
—
Meanwhile, at the mansion…
Grace was walking slowly in the garden, enjoying the fresh air.
For the first time in days, she felt a little calm.
But suddenly—
She felt a sharp pain in her stomach.
“Ahh!” she cried, holding herself.
Her breathing became heavy.
“No… not now…”
She tried to walk, but her legs felt weak.
Then everything went black.
—
Inside the house, a maid screamed.
“Sir! Sir! Miss Grace has collapsed!”
Daniel rushed out immediately.
“Grace!”
He lifted her into his arms, panic all over his face.
“Get the car! Now!”
—
At the hospital…
Doctors rushed Grace into the emergency room.
Daniel paced back and forth, his heart pounding.
“Please… be okay…” he whispered.
Minutes felt like hours.
Then finally, a doctor came out.
“Are you Mr. Daniel?”
“Yes! How is she? How are the babies?”
The doctor’s face was serious.
“She’s stable for now… but—”
Daniel’s heart dropped. “But what?”
“She’s under extreme stress. If this continues… she might lose the babies.”
Daniel froze.
Lose… the babies?
“No…” he whispered.
“You must make sure she avoids any emotional shock,” the doctor warned. “Or the consequences could be very bad.”
Daniel nodded slowly, his face filled with fear.
“I understand.”
—
But outside the hospital…
A black car was parked quietly.
Inside, Vanessa watched everything with a cold smile.
“Perfect timing,” she whispered.
She picked up her phone and sent a message.
“Send me all the documents. It’s time to end this.”
Her eyes darkened.
“Grace… you have no idea what’s coming.”
—
Inside the hospital room…
Grace slowly opened her eyes.
“Daniel…” she whispered weakly.
He rushed to her side.
“I’m here.”
She held his hand tightly.
“I’m scared…”
Daniel gently wiped her tears.
“Don’t worry. I won’t let anything happen to you or our babies.”
Grace closed her eyes, trying to believe him.
But somewhere deep inside…
A storm was coming.
And this time…
It wasn’t just about love.
It was about a past that refused to stay buried.
