HE WALK IN WITH MISTRESS & FIND A MAN IN HIS HOUSE SHIRTLESS-HE DIDN’T ASK BUT-hongtran

Grace read it twice, then erased it without replying. Some endings required no response.
Another message appeared—this one from Julian.
Was that him? Should I initiate the boat plan?
Grace laughed and replied: No boats. I’m fine.

She slipped her phone away and watched the sky blaze in orange and violet as the sun disappeared. Somewhere, Daniel was living with his regrets. Somewhere else, Bianca was likely pursuing another illusion of security. Here, though, Grace was exactly where she was meant to be.
She had always been a queen. She had simply misplaced her crown. Now she was home—and she would never dim herself again.
Three months later, Grace cut the ribbon at the grand opening of the first Phoenix Rising Center as cameras flashed and supporters cheered. Julian stood proudly beside her, Richard at her other side, her family gathered for the moment.

She stopped before a mirror and studied her reflection—steady, powerful, whole.
“Welcome home,” she whispered.
