Ricardo did not return because he thought Isabel no longer trusted him.
Isabel let him go because she believed he had betrayed her.

Maria did not hesitate.
He took him to his mother.
He gave her food.
A place to breathe.
A little peace.
And then… he took him back.
When Isabel opened the door and saw him… the world stopped.
There were no words at first.
Just glances.

They hugged.
